Man. Maybe it's just me, but that statement reeks of compromise.

I just have a bad feeling about what kind of stuff they are going to want to do. I hope that they will have a great speech ready with loads of ideas as to help make things safer in the future. Because if they don't I am done with them. I will send my card back to them with a nasty note. I refuse to represent an organization that caves under media pressure. But hopefully I am just over reacting. That is the last thing we need is for the NRA to let us down. There are already enough senators who are flipping as we speak. They are supposed to be all for the 2A but now they are wanting an AWB and other gun control. You cannot support the 2A and want to put restrictions on it.

I have never been worried about our 2nd amendment rights until today. I think something is going to happen.

If we can get away with something mostly cosmetic like the last AWB, we may be lucky.
