Teachers need to keep their personal opinions and political beliefs out of the classroom. Like religious beliefs, this is s job for the children's parents and guardians, not the teachers, and certainly not the teachers union.

Teach about how the government is set up, how it is supposed to work, and citizens rights and responsibilities like you are paid to do, but keep your opinions to yourself.

I think teachers, actors, musicians and other famous people should not be allowed to put their political opinion out there and attempt to influence other people. Treat them the same way you treat a foreign government trying to influence elections.

The left has been holding hands with the NEA for 50 years. It just took a while for it to take a serious foothold in our red state.
I read the link and have been to the state delegate conference twice. I declined this past year. The education system has been sufficiently infiltrated.
I still enjoy the process but it’s tough to stomach it anymore.

NEA is a monster. My wife wouldn't join and the pressure on her as a new teach was immense from the administration when she started teaching 18 years ago. It was mind boggling when she wouldn't join NEA and United Way. The administrators want 100% participation and will try about anything to get it.

I have said it before, and I will say it again the liberal indoctrination now starts in our middle schools, high schools are as bad as colleges. And nothing, will ever be done about it. Which is why I say the conservative view and our freedoms will eventually dry up completely. Without ample money and lawsuits nothing is going to change the war is lost, hell even with all the money in the world the war is still likely lost. I keep hoping for someplace in South America to adopt a constitution like ours at which point I am it of here
