This is very important IMO. If i have never had any dealings with someone, im always going with someone to watch my back. You are doing a firearm transaction and you never really know who is on the other end on that screen name.
It is better to go inside of bass pro, walmart ect. Just make sure you get the little sticker when you go in the door.

You may get lucky at a Gun Show and find an individual walking around with what your are looking for for sale at a good price, but search the web sites and get a feel for the market price before you spend your money. Even on this site you will find some individuals selling used firearms at retail or higher cost. Be patient there are deals on this site everyday you just have to be lucky and get to the deal first. Big Boys Guns in Wheatland on Highway 152 has good prices.
