As I wrote on my blog, using OBNDD's logic that any offense that poses no risk to third parties and occurs on average more than once per year during the last decade should carry a life sentence, DPS should call for the death penalty for speeders.
Never smoked or had the urge to smoke weed or any derivative thereof in my life, and yet I can recognize how asinine it is to put people in jail for toking up in their own home. If the politicians want to focus on drugs, at least focus on the ones that are more dangerous than the legal, more socially acceptable ways to destroy your body, such as alcohol and tobacco.
Our state legislature is full of self serving idiots just trying to get reelected. The crap they pull is unbelievable.
The job doesn't pay much in state salary but the graft and corruption they can get under the table is sizable.
It's been that way for generations.
