P95s are kinda chunky, have an odd take-down procedure, and have that long double action trigger pull on the first shot.

However they are plenty accurate, insanely reliable, very manageable recoil even in 9mm +P, and cheap. My go-to recommendation for first-time handgun buyers, as long as their hands are big enough to grip it properly.

like someone stated earlier like an AK goes Boom every time.
seconded thirded what ever we are at now.
can't speak for the P95 but I can for the P85 and P89 the only thing that killed them was a house fire that was hot enough to get ammo to start going off in the safe the only gun that had a round chambered put a hole in 3/8 steel out the back of the safe so the metal was quite soft and still the slide and barrel were good with a little clean up of the melted plastic stuck to them
