The 320 is as wide as a g19 the grip feels rounder to meOK now things have gotten really interesting. I've been watching the 320 and it seems that Sig has the bugs worked out from what I can tell. For me it's about the width of the platform. If they can stuff 15 rounds in a slim gun like the 320 or Shield, and maintain reliability, that's certainly worth a look. It's the width of a Glock 19 that I don't like. I could carry a G34 just fine if it were the width of a G43. Some guys can AIWB a G34 but I ain't one of them due to the width.
Just last night I saw a video that had the guy shooting close to 2" groups at 25 yards with a 320. Seems that Sig is redefining "concealed" carry.
I think I have finally got the role for mine figured out. I tried to make it a pocket gun and wasn't successful using soft pocket holsters. Finally ordered a kydex pocket holster from PJ holsters and it works great. I carry mine every day either IWB or in the pocket. The reason I wanted to pocket carry was I wanted to return to a revolver for my primary sd firearm. Many years ago I carried a Smith k frame as primary. Sometimes, depending on where I was, I felt the need for more rounds than 6 readily available. I carried a j frame as a backup. I have one of the little .38s but didn't like it in a pocket. Felt like I had a baloney sandwich stuck in there. In the kydex holster the P365 just disappears. A twerp probably couldn't do that as I'm a pretty big guy (6'2" & 200 lbs.) Now, I have exactly what I wanted with the P365 - an 11 round backup gun that can become my primary when it's not possible to carry my preferred revolver.
.
Actually I frequently used an ankle holster when I was working (and younger) but now that I'm an old geezer it takes longer to get to my ankle than it would take to reload a revolver.
