i checked the only one we have on the lease that i know of. there are as many on the ground as on the branches. last year there were deer tracks all around it and it was cleaned. they don't seem to be hitting it this year,wonder why?
I noticed a patch of persimmon trees the other day scouting for another season. Loaded. Looks like this was a good year. I have had some good bow hunts over persimmons for sure. It is a + year for pecans too. Hogs were already working them just from what the squirrels had been cutting/dropping.
My stand is in a pecan tree. I always have does come up behind me and eat.
