What are the pros and cons of 9mm AR's? Can you get a .45 AR?

Feeding problems? Any extra expences?

If you get a full-length barrel, you don't have to have any sort of license do you?

Where can you get one, and how much?

I too was interested in one, so I priced a couple and they tended to be more expensive. Guess you could make up for the extra cost by going with 9mm since 9mm generally costs less than .223.

There are options for ARs in 45ACP. Personally, I like this one the best LINK. But I think you would have to buy the incomplete lower and then pay a machinist to take it to 100%. Uses grease mags is the main reason I like the idea.

They are fun and cheap to shoot! Some of the factory made guns have feeding problems. No stamp unless you want it shorter than 16". Personally i would have one built. JoshL and Martin(MAS) both build some really nice uppers.
