Made a late run to my parents house last night to hunt this morning in a stand that has produced deer for me since I was 12. Had this guy come in with 3 other bucks. Wind shifted and he was on his way out(one step from bolting) and I rushed the shot from a sitting position. Was extremely lucky/blessed to cut the renal artery/veins and femoral artery. The rage 2 bladed heads are amazing. When the arrow left I knew it was horrible but he walked 15 feet staggered and fell. I think he will be my biggest to date. Bowtech Extreme VFT, Carbon Express pile driver, rage 2 blades. 140lbs Main frame 8 point with a 1 inch sticker off the back base.

Shot this guy on the Friday evening. He came in from the North at about 6pm. The wind was out of the NE, so he never knew I was there. I watched him for the next 30 minutes cover about 50 yards, moving very cautiously. When he stepped into the opening straight in front at 25 yards, I let my Muzzy fly! A nice double lung shot and 60 yards later I had my first 2012 buck! And biggest buck ever for that matter!
