A buddy of mine shot a doe on Lexington during the rifle lottery hunt tonight. Said it came in to about 30 yards before he shot and then ran 30 yards and dropped. The interesting part of the story (to me) was that the warden's aged her at 7 1/2 years old. I didn't expect many deer to last that long out there. The warden's were all pretty surpised at her age too.
Wife got this piebald buck here in Nebraska this morning. Not a huge rack but still a trophy!!
