Praying for your situation.
My wife was diagnosed with dementia from Alzheimers in 2017. We had all the legal work done for years prior to that. I have POA document, but haven't activated it yet, but probably will need to soon.

One day at a time my friend.

Prayers your way for sure. My wife's dad has dementia and I am his POA and Co-Trustee on the trust. His spouse died of cancer shortly after the trust and POA started. Getting all of the retirement accounts, investment accounts, etc where I could manage them was a nightmare. With wife's passing and his poor memory nothing was easy.

I strongly encourage you to get done now what needs to happen before it is too late. Investment decisions, care decisions, just daily life decisions are not at all easy.

I certainly hope for the best for she and you.
