I was advised by someone that an undercut on a gun is prohibited on a Production gun. Looking at http://www.uspsa.org/rules/2010HandgunRulesProof3web.pdf , from page 77 on, I could not find anything saying that an undercut is indeed a prohibited modification. I have been shooting in Limited division because I'm a freaking honest man, but would like to know if I wanted to, could shoot in Production. LOL. Thanks!

22 Specifically prohibited
modifications and features
Please note that the absence of an item in the list of
prohibited modifications MAY NOT be construed to
mean a modification is allowed. A modification is
only allowed in Production Division if there is a rules
clause or interpretation which specifically declares
that it is allowed in the Division.
Removing or disabling firing-pin blocks or any other
factory safety mechanism in Production division is
specifically prohibited.

ALL modifications are PROHIBITED in USPSA Production Division unless a specific item in Appendix D4 or a published NROI ruling clearly states that specific modification is allowed for use in USPSA Production Division.

I believe you are talking about undercutting the trigger guard, correct? If so then, no you cannot perform that modification and still be production legal. You can't change anything on the guns frame but you can apply grip tape to the grip, see page 88 for info, and you can't add any grip tape etc to the slide either.
