I've heard of issues with the electrics not getting hot enough so I went with the Masterbuilt propane smoker and haven't looked back.

Sure wish the big green egg hadn't been mentioned. I've now done a bunch of reading and video watching and want one, but it's about 600 more than I wanted to spend.

I have a propane smoker. Works great and easy to use.

Can get several smokes out of a bottle.
