It's the later version of an AK-47, virtually unchanged except for the caliber considerations. They're almost flawless in operation, if not a bit less accurate than an AR, but they're dead reliable, fire a comparable caliber and are the current standard for the Russian armies since 1974.

How do i find out were it was made from . I went ahead and picked it up today and it is in pretty dang good shape .
Should be an import mark on the side.
