Ok so i have been very much considering bow hunting this season. its been years since i have gone bow hunting. I don't have a bow so i need to get one. any suggestions? im not looking to pay over 250$ new or used. also, should i get a re-curve or just stick with a compound? what are the goods and bads about re-curves and compounds?

Todays compunds are very forgiving and super easy to shoot accurately(imo), recurves and longbows get the job done but you must practice.

Compounds dont hold their value and you can find decent deals in pawnshops. I think price wise a good used compuond is about the same price as a good recurve.
