Had one doe come through all morning and decided to pass on her since she looked pretty small. About an hour later this nice sow came into range about 35 yards away. The freezer having been depleted of pork, I went ahead and took her.

You guys got that right! Its already been running through my head. Time to decide on what wood to use. Have to buy hickory or I can use pecan since I've got pecan trees out the wazoo.

Pecan is an awesome wood. If you can find some cherry wood, that is out of this world too. Gives it a sweeter taste.
