@ Honey Badger Since you live in Ponca now, I'd sure like to visit with you to get some tips when I get home. I built a forge on a whim, tried some things, but haven't been totally satisfied with the results. I need to learn and get some tips.

Found tears today around Superior. That 4-mile hike sucked! LOL!
Pretty much 3/4" diameter stuff. If we had hiked another two miles to the mine area, they say there are some twice that size.
I may buy a few more at the rock shop at the flea market.......
I don't mind the hike but get tired of those with me whining.
I took the next step in my 3D printing adventure, by adding an enclosure. This will let me print higher temp materials and prevent warping by holding the heat in and blocking drafts. It also has a HEPA discharge filter, so the bad for you fumes get filtered out. Only hiccup is the door frame cracked during install and is further cracking around some of the bolts holding it to the base. May have to see about getting a new frame.
I got bored today and built four machinist jacks to use on my mill.
