Sure, especially with clips and boolets. Did not see a price. Were I in TUL I would probably offer him a couple hundred. He does not, as you say, appear very weapon savvy.

This ad is for a mini 14 in 7.62x39 though, those are SUPER rare. The 14's are much more common than th e 30's but their not too difficult to find. My favorite part is "its just like the 30-30"

Someone obviously told him the two rounds are ballistically similar? I have heard that, but cannot confirm.

The lead (bullet) in both the 7.62 x 39 or 51 and the 30-30 are the same. The casings (shells) are what makes the differance.

In his defense, I think he was comparing the 7.62 vs .30-30 as in caliber, in which he is correct on that. E
