Recommend scrap metal guy?

I am looking for somebody to haul some scrap off for me, preferably for free. An old garage door, grill, brake rotors and such. Anybody have a recommendation in the Claremore, Tulsa area? Just wary of having somebody off craigslist coming to my house. Thanks

A few months ago scrap iron, and steel was around $40 per ton, you might have to pay someone to haul it off right now. But you might have someone that lives out by you that is stockpiling scrap metal until prices go back up. If your a member of a buy / sell / trade group on Facebook, that is your best bet. Put an ad up "Must be picked up today, message for address". You will usually have no problems getting rid of the items that same day, just remember scrap is not worth much right now.
