That reminds me of the story that I heard on the radio back in the late '70's or early '80's.

Some dude from back east (guessing he was from a large city) got off of the bus in a small town in the Texas Panhandle and robbed a store. Then he got back on the bus to head on west. Texas police were waiting at the next bus stop and arrested him.

I couldn't believe that he really thought he could get away with it.
