Remington 870 or Mossberg 590?

I know this is Chevy vs Ford, Glock vs 1911 thing but just wanted to see which Osa'ers prefer.

For me I like the 870 because of the steel receiver, barrel changes, and ease of take down. What say you?

Remington 870 20G express w/ slug barrel and 00 buck for home defense here. perfect size for the spousal element to handle and shoot. Switch out barrels and go out hunting. Great little shotgun.

If it is a Wingmaster, I would take it over the Mossy. If not, I would take the Mossy.

I guess I dont really have a preference per se but found a Mossberg in a factory configuration I liked so got it.
20" bbl, 9 shot, heat shield, bayonet lug and forend light all from the factory...

Having had both, I prefer the safety location of the Mossberg, but everything else on the 870, assuming it's not an Express.

I like the location of the Mossberg safety as well, but it really doesn't matter to me which one you give me.
