Congrats, I am enjoying my retirement. I have been retired for a few years. Enjoying life with the grandkids. Shooting is one of my hobbies. Have fun!!
I've been retired 7 years now. If it came down to coming back to work or living under a bridge, GC had better start checking out bridges ... lol
He's going on terminal leave September 1. I'm more excited than he is and he's pretty excited!
Other than enjoy retirement to it's fullest, the only advice I can give is to watch your pennies. You'd be surprised what inflation really is in the real world. Don't take anything you pay for today for granted, because I will guarantee you that you won't believe what it'll cost you 10 years from now.
I have a little over 4 years and I am ready. I'll be 50 then and too young to not continue to work so I'm going to try and end up in a gun store working part time for a few more years until the wife can retire too. I cant believe I already have 26 years in at this place...time does fly.
