Rimfire shot shells

I was wondering, is there anyone on this forum who has ever used one of these cartridges to actually KILL SOMETHING? If so, rifle or handgun, what,and at what distance,also capsule or crimped? The reason I ask is that my experence with them has not been good, but then, maybe its just me. Any replies, I would truly appreciate.

Snakes, all the time. And once, when I didn't have anything else, and it was necessary... A raccoon. That took a TON of patience and 2 very good shots.

'Skeet shooting' dragonflies with a pistol from a boat on the river when the fish stopped biting. Capsules. A few feet, 3 to 10 maybe. Never with anyone else in the boat though. It would be very dangerous.

I've used the 22lr on all kinds of critters with decent success.

I had two snakes capitulating on the front porch one evening.
I grad one of the shotshells for 38sp.
Blasted them into another world.
