For home defense, how would you guys keep this thing? I've read that the second round can get distorted if its left loaded in the gun, but I haven't experimented personally. Given that it takes about 5 seconds to kick a door in, I really don't like the idea of having to pop a mag in the gun under stress. Thoughts?

I thought about that but didn't know if that was bad for the spring. The only thing I don't like about it is the noise of chambering a round. I'd rather surprise a bad guy with a light instead of warning them with the slide slamming shut. But, seems like this may be the best option. Thanks for the reply.
