I was thinking about selling my savage .243 Model 11 after deer season. But not real sure on what to price it at. The rifle is in great shape and has the accu triger but no drop hinged plate. You just have to discharge each round manually with the bolt to empty the rifle. Thinking about selling it with out the scope. just price the rifle only. P.S. Not selling the gun at this time just trying to get honest opinion. Thanks

Your rifle is worth $300-$400 used to the right buyer.

I love my Savages, but Marlin really did a number on resale value IMHO - what you had to pay $450 in savage you can have for $300 with Marlin - same switch barrel and accutrigger. Why someone would pay more for used gun than brand new with the same features is beyond me, it's not like Marlin is not an established brand name.

I'd keep the rifle. If you are not happy with the caliber you can always switch the barrel.
