I'm not sure about the size of the bobcats in your neck of the woods, but down here in southern Oklahoma, a really big cat is going to be in the 30 to 35 pound range. Thirty-five years ago, when my folks first moved onto there place, dad kept game birds. We had lots of problems with bobcats and trapped and killed several. The always look like they weigh more than they do, when actually weighed. It seems like most were in the 21 to 25 lb range.

Even 26 pounds would be big! Of all the cats I have killed in my life, I have yet to get one bigger than 25 pounds. They always look way bigger than they actually are.
