A friend of mine has a deer cam and never any deer. Then he showed me a pic from last week of a bobcat. This is his property, do we need anything special license-wise to shoot it?

Season is not open til December 1st. Unless you have a lifetime license or are otherwise exempt a fur license will be needed.

On a side note, I don't believe that a bobcat is going to keep deer ran off his property.

Yeha, the warden said it would have to be in the act of stalking poultry or livestock and that we would just have to bury it. I am a newbie at hunting, I am just starting to get into it. My youngest wants to go hunting so I am having to learn first! The bobcat looked to be about 76 pounds, it has been around a while. I think turkey is going to be my first real hunt.
