I think the ”under stress” part is the huge unknown variable.
Additionally, my practice with my CCW has always been at closer distances. I had never really contemplated having to take a 40 yard shot, let alone hitting 8 out of 10 at that distance.
Life would be so much easier if I could CCW an AR pistol with a red dot.

It seems Shannon Watts would have preferred the shooter to continue his murderous ways until such time as the local constabulary could muster a quorum of properly outfitted personnel so as to take on the shooter with minimal risk. I can't contemplate getting through life with that much stupid overflowing my person.

Makes you wonder what Shannon's response would have been had she been enjoying lunch at that food court now don't it?

Old thread from last July, ref. Young Eli at the mall. Took me about four trips to the outdoor range to get steady enough. Truth is for me, can’t get the rounds on at 40 yards out of my fixed sight Sig Sauer P320 Compact, but with my fiber optic adjustable rear, LPA iron sights,,,Finally. 1100 hrs. Wednesday, ten rounds fired offhand, unsupported with my Sig Sauer P320 tactical carry.
