Glad your brother and his family are safe. Sucks that POS criminals ruin a good time for families with this type of crap. I remember as a kid the fair was fun to go to for food and whatnot. I don’t even want to take my kid there these days.
One of my high school kids was there. First time he has ever gone. I told him to keep his head on a swivel. He said I was right about the type of people at the fair at night on the weekends.

Good question. Our daughters went earlier in the day yesterday and our oldest had some bandaids in a tin and it set off the detector.

My wife has an idiot liberal acquaintance who was there when it happened and she was sooo traumatized by the “active shooter event” had to hide in the bathroom, etc.. she’s been posting all over Facebook about how she was traumatized and America is F’ed and it’s all right wing gun enthusiast rednecks fault.. pshhh

Wait ... The big safety story of the day yesterday (or maybe it was Friday cuz Evan Onstot was preening his feathers the whole time) was that you had to go through not one but TWO metal detectors this year. How did he get that gun in there?? Inquiring minds and all ...
