Small inverter generator PSA

DO NOT buy one of these.
less than 5 hours total and it will not start.
used for 10 minutes when I first bought it then power came back on.
started it 2x a year for last 3 years and always use ethanol free gas.
I always shut the gas off and usually run it out of gas(debateable, good/bad)
used it for around 3 hours last week and now it will NOT START.
no spark. getting fuel. Tried different spark plugs.
i have a couple other things I am going to try before i do something drastic With it.
so far very poor service center help.

This pair of Hondas per the book says run 15 minutes monthly. I do it every two months like clock work. As well as I make them run a huge ass electric drill on and off a few times. Let em idle while the drill is put away. Turn them off, no way to let them run out of fuel. I keep it treated with SeaFoam. They are several years old and years of hunting in a RV in the mountains, Jeep Trips, weeks and weeks of dry camping, electricity outages. Once for 11 days on a home that did not have a Generac. And speaking of Generacs, they run once a month.

These two Honda EUI 2000s don’t owe me a penny. I have kept them in great shape, never left outdoors, I built an aluminum folding shed for them when using them hunting and such. And an occasional wipe down and Armor All.

Just got my new coil installed and it fired right up.
i guess i will buy another one JIC.

i will say their customer service is worthless

Welp, small update!!!
mfr emailed me back about 11am this morning after 2 days and confirmed the coil part # and then emailed back 5 hours later(after 5pm!!!) and said they are sending me a coil!!
so, while taking around 8-9 days to email the first 4 times it does seem
like they are going to take care of me!
I was going to buy A spare coil anyway. Still might Buy an ebay cheapie coil.
edit 9/24 received a new coil from the mfr!!
