Amazing how a smell can conger up images of the past? Lots of good ones, fresh home made bread, coffee beans being ground in the Safeway store, freshly cut hay, The small of the earth just after a spring shower, while chasing the end of a rainbow, Dad told us boys there was a pot of gold if we could find it, and kept us busy chasing all over the pasture, and out of his hair I guess? My worst small has to be home perms, that small would run me out of the house every time!!
