Snakes are out!

My 80 acres is just west of Haydenville a bit. Pygmy rattlers all the time.....killed my first last week. They are not aggressive but they don't move away fast enough when you accidently encounter them. I have snake boots that I wear anytime when off the trail or road and refuse to bring my dog out with me for that reason. during the warm months I carry Judge with alternating .410 and 45 in the cylinder ( pigs too )

We're about 2 miles west of the fire barn and 1/2 miles north. On the west side of Paul Haydens place.
Definitely have pigs too. Mini bulldozers.

We consider s property right near you I’d guess. when we bought what we did. It was very close to the Wildlife Conservation area. Decided the road to it was a little questionable.

Almost neighbors. South of Okemah just West of weleetka is our property. Seen more pygmy than copperheads.

I wonder if enough king snakes were introduced on a property, if it would take care of the venomous population long term.
