It's only a matter of time before that rifle finds its way to Mexico to be used by drug cartels. If we had only banned the police from being able to carry sniper rifles, this would have never happened and Mexico would be safe again.

great...

first any rifle with a magazine is called an "assault weapon"

and now...

any rifle with a bolt action is going to be called a "sniper rifle"

regardless of whether this rifle truly was or not, it's in the media's lexicon.
