Sounds interesting in theory, but that article leaves me with many more questions than answers.

I hope those that contributed to this project had a lot more information to go on.

Wouldn't fly in oklahoma, OGE ect would have it made illegal or get a tax put on it.

Except that the manufacture of solar panels is one of the more toxic things to produce. Same as batteries for electric cars.

I was speaking of the resource, not the method of collection. Our manufacturing processes for solar collection devices will eventually become more efficient.

And our electric cars have to be recharged using energy from coal burning power plants. LOL.......

I don't think the road thing is viable. Driveway, roof, buildings, sure, but not roads. I just don't buy it.

Wouldn't work in Ca. Too many cars on the road casting shadows to be effective.
