TerryMiller - They have plans set for what to do if nadars go through. There are several mobile command posts for the state that immediately respond to the area. Last year when the tornado hit in Norman, by OU there were agencies from across the state calling and asking if officers and firefighters were needed to assist with anything. For stormshelters, they will set up a team to repond out and start checking each registered shelter. I would be more comfortable in a below ground shelter than in an interior room.

Having lived thru one in 78 and the one that hit Pink in 2010, we're gunshy and hit the cellar quick. Just came out about half hour ago.

Wife made it comfy with chairs, cots, snacks, drinks and radio.
