Got back into them. 14” .223, then 14” 30-30. Couldn’t pass on a 10” .41 mag (love the caliber). Then finally a 10” 300 AAC Blackout. They all have their own fun factor.
Does anyone shoot .17 Rem anymore?

I'd like to get a g2 frame. Probably won't but it'd be nice. I never understood why build a gun you have to break it open again to cock if you change your mind on a shot

I like 'em. Don't have any custom barrels.....all TC.
.22, .22mag, .223 14", .357Herrett, .30-30, .41mag, .44mag vent rib/choke, .223 carbine, 7-30 Waters carbine,
My best deal was the .357 Herrett. $30 from a pawn shop in SE Oklahoma because "Ain't nobody interested in that wild cat $h1t."
Most interesting I think is the .22 mag. 14" bull barrel but has very interesting sights. Dial adjustable elevation for sillouette ranges but also both front and rear are adjustable for width of blade and notch.

Factory ammo is being made, so I would think somebody is shooting it.

Know lots of Contender shooters, but I never got into them. Looking back, I should have.

There are barrels in about any caliber you could desire. Though, I have no desire to fire a Contender in .45-70 or .444 Marlin.

Talked with a guy at gunshow, he had barrels for 38 calibers.
