Ted...The Movie

We went and saw this with some friends on Saturday night. I thought it was going to be over the top and crude like a lot of the material from Family Guy. I was pleasantly surprised that the story was good and the humor was actually pretty funny most of the time. Very little nudity, but a lot of innuendo and sexual references. If that stuff doesn't bother you it's actually a pretty good flick.

I watched it in Tulsa, i was suprised that the lady sitting behind me brought her YOUNG children, they looked about 5 and 7. Heard them laughing alot.

I was going to see it but my friends wanted to see Spider Man instead.

It's under 17. Sure they can see it with an adult or guardian, but SHOULD they see it? MPAA thinks children under 17 should NOT see that film without adult supervision. Heck, when I was 11 my parents let me watch "Predator" and "Aliens" by msyelf and I turned out fine.

Yeah, I would probably have been allowed to see it growing up. We probably would have rented it though and watched it at home as a family.

I wanted my $19 back after taking my wife to see that movie. It had its moments but it was more a redbox-er than anything.
