Anyone else catch the Pilot of The Americans on FX? I thought it was really good. Original idea, good writing, great music, action, John Boy Walton, what else could you want? I thought the father character was pretty cool, great disguises and fight scenes with him.

If you missed it I think it's on one more time before the next episode.

I watched but just couldn't get into it. I even tried watching the encore... But still couldn't find an interest. You're right though, it has some really good writing and music.

Curious...Did you grow up in the 80's? I graduated in '83, and joined military in '86. Very reminiscent for me.

I was a child in the 80's, just turned 31 today. I enjoyed the first episode and will likely watch it again tomorrow.
