Make enough money to be comfortable and do most reasonable things a man can dream of while being able to provide a positive lifestyle for my family. That would be plenty for me!

I want to live someplace where I can go out on my back porch and shoot at targets or food. I want this place to have well water and self produced power. I don't want to have to pay money to someone else each month just to live.

I'm pretty much living it right now. Im retired. Monthly check. Bills are paid. Everything I have has been paid for. Kids are grown and living their own lives. I go spoil the grand kids every once in a while.

If I were to do anything different, I'd want a full mile section of wooded land with a two story log cabin right in the middle of it.

Money doesn't buy happiness. But... Money can buy security, which can bring peace of mind, which can in turn enable the ability to focus on hapiness.

I'd like to have enough money to be financially secure and afford a secure place to live, along with safe, reliable vehicles to drive and plenty of insurance to cover everything. With that peace of mind I think I could maintain "The Good Life".

If I had an obscene amount of money, I'm not sure I'd be all that happy. Too much pressure to maintain it and too much temptation to do foolish things.

1st. Being married to my best friend she makes everyday seem like Valentine's Day!! She has shared sooooo much with me the good, bad, deaths(family & friends) working toward our goals and dreams..........what else can I say about her?

2nd. Education!!! Even thought I don't use some of my degrees, I'm extremely thankful for them and look back on them with pride.

3rd. My health.

4th. My friends.

5th. My Socioeconomic status..........that my wife and I have created( through education and work) for ourselves.

6th. Good food and drink..........along with a great Cuban cigar.

7th. When I'm in Vegas walking down the sidewalk waiting for a hot table or just getting up from a table making some "change in my pocket". Smoking a great Cuban cigar with a nice stiff drink, B.S.ing with the guys at the table I'm playing at. My wife is at a nice spa in a casino and we've got a reservation to either Joel Robuchon, Cut, Le Cirque, or Ruth's Chris............The Good Life.

Money can't buy you happiness, but it can buy you a yacht big enough to pull up right alongside it.

Good health and a happy healthy family is number one for me. Ive been around money my entire life within my family and I know some miserable wealthy people. Myself having a bit of money now at an older age is comforting but it has never made me any happier than I was as a young adult when I wasnt as comfortable, it just pays the bills and buys comfort and hopefully future health and comfort. After I pay the bills it takes to live my families version of a good life, my families health costs, and whatever it takes to put some away for future family comfort, the rest to me is just useless paper.
