It seems like there is always something to be done to one.

Having bins of extra crap is half the fun of being a gun guy... I have more barrel bushings and guide rod assemblies than a normal 1911 guy should have. But I "needed" every one of them.....lol

I'm in that life cycle myself. Just replaced hammer and trigger pins. Now I need to find time to go to the range to necessitate the 3 rifle optic rotation. Patrol rifle is getting a low power Vortex scope. Aimpoint is coming off the patrol rifle. Leupold is coming off 1 6.8 to go onto another. When all this goes down. I'm sure I'll find a reason to redo handguards since the rifles will need to be zeroed again.

Only two ways to go IMO. Either an inexpensive fluff-n-buff/speed mod/JP spring kit, or a full on high end trigger (Geissele for me). Anything in-between is either spending too much or too little. Again, JMO, YMMV

What about the overtravel / take-up set screws on said fluff-n-buff/speed mod/spring kit trigger?

I would love a good $150 trigger to go in this AR but I cant afford it. This is on my girls hunting rifle and I need the weight down for before rifle season. I dont need her pulling on an 8lb trigger.
