I have said it before, I will say it again,

First I have no problem with helping those who truly need the help. There are those in this country who cannot work and provide for themsleves, there are also those who work, and work hard, but still struggle to make it, I dont have a problem seeing those people get the help they need.

BUT when I see those scooter riding lard asses, with ****** fresh tattoos on flabby arms and 200lb fupas with 5 kids each pushing a cart thru wal mart filled to brim with crap, and paying with the "dignity card" then pulling out a wad of cash to pay for the cases of beer and cartons of smokes...**** YOU, if you can afford the smokes, beer and tats, you can buy your own damn food.

Or better yet the leach who wanted priceing for a $5000 lawn mower and lumber to build a 1400sqft deck, then telling everyone how SSI was going to buy her all of this since she deserved it...
****ers are going to bleed this country dry.

Rome fell partly due to the people, who found out they could vote themsleves entitlements, the same mentality that got obama in office...and the same mentality that has gotten us to where we are today.

I hope drug testing becomes mandatory to get on any kind of federal or state welfare.

So, with zero information you all want to decide who gets to spend their money and for what. How do you know the people you are mad at make a living off of welfare? Oh yea you don't . You are making huge generalizations based on your have personal experience that are a tiny insignificant percentage of the welfare population. Blaming poor people for the US economy doesn't make much sense.

The entire problem is a result of FEDERAL government exceeding it's purpose. Since the federal government is not going away, the problem remains.

I know the answer to the problem. But to be honest, I no longer really care as nothing is going to change. So I simply read the stories, the rants, the frustrations and chuckle. And minimize my involvement in a system that perpetuates slavery of people. Pay my mafia dues (income tax) and redirect my limited time to more worthy pursuits.

I don't think anyone here is blaming poor people... they're blaming LAZY people who think they're ENTITLED. In fact, several have specifically said they are willing to help those in NEED, especially those who are trying or who truly CAN'T help themselves. Laziness isn't the same thing by a country mile.

If you don't see a difference, then the problem is yours, IMNSHO.

If the money they get is in the form of public assistance, then yes, they should be told what they can and cannot buy. As far as I am concerned they should only be able to get basic staples, beans, flour, rice etc. No cokes, sweets or most pre packaged products. You go on the .gov teat, you give up alot of your personal rights to choose.
In case you have not noticed, there is a culture out there, that make it their "job of choice" to suck at the teat of the .gov, and that causes myself and others to have to pay more in taxes, which means I and others then have less of what we work for to maintain and improve our way of life, which is why I work, to better my situation in life not that of others.
