there used to be a place near Topeka called ballentine's scopes unlimited it was cool and there used to be an awesome gun club to the northwest of Topeka I can't remember the name of it and I was even a member there 10 years ago.
My brother lives there and my sister used to, so I've spent many days there. Decent little city. I could live there.
I don't know what you're into, but lots of hunting (deer, ducks, pheasant, quail and coyote), NASCAR track, 30 minutes to K-State OR K-who and an hour to Kansas City.
In fact, I'm headed there tomorrow.
I still remember visiting my ex-wife's grandparents in Topeka, and buying Winchester Wildcat .22lr bricks at Rusty's Outdoor Sports at 21st & Fairlawn for $9.99/brick. Those were the days.
