Pine, treated pine, and 4x4 treated posts - nah. Been there done that. One of the biggest wastes of $$ I've ever made...and it only gets uglier over time. Bleh

I’m not going to read the whole thread, but get un-treated cedar and put a semi-transparent stain on it. If you have an in ground sprinkler don’t let the water hit the fence. Start with a light color and when you re-stain it if needed you can go a little darker.

Your fence, you do what you want, but I was in the paint & coatings business for 38 years, and that’s what I’d do. You’ll regret buying and sweating over a pine fence.
