My 2006 5.4L F150 4X4 get about 14 hwy.

I drove a F450 stake bed quite a bit when I was in kommiefornia. Company truck, they bought it new after it had set on the lot for over 2 years. They got a heck of a deal on it because nobody wanted the V10. Good engine. No problems with it, just the mileage sucks big time. I never checked it, but it wasn't good!

Don't know about the V 10. The 5.4 V8 in an 2008 Reg Cab LWB 4X4 F250: Best 19 MPG on highway. Worst 11 MPG in town (4 mile trip each way in traffic with lights) Averages 16-17 on highway and 13 in city. Have 80K on truck now.

Run for your life. Have a 99 F-350 with auto trans 121K mi and 3 trans and replaced the motor, front end suspension is cratered. Complete POS. Your milage may vary. If you insist on Ford, get one with the 7.3 Powerstroke. The 6.0 and onward do not have a good reputation from the Ford mechanic we use.
