Rick Perry said "If this guy prints more money between now and the election, I don't know what y'all would do to him in Iowa, but we would treat him pretty ugly down in Texas."

So, I guess Perry was OK with the money creation back then but if he prints more money between now and the election it's treasonous.

I don't disagree with you. Big spend liberals and big spend conservatives are looking more and more alike. They just spend on different things. I just thought Perry's Bernanke comments weren't quite as ridiculous as they were made out to be and I'm not a Perry fan.

I think Perry's comments on Bernanke were dead on, and I'm only slightly more fond of Perry than Helicopter Ben.

I just read a piece on how much of the banking bailout went to overseas banks. Also interesting to note just how little control any branch of government had over the bailout, only the part voted on by congress. The rest was all the Fed with the government having no say at all.
