Law doesn't say anything about applying pressure indirectly.

It also doesn't say direct, which means that either way of applying pressure goes.

Yep, we could argue about that forever. And to be honest, I think it would be rare to find someone who would really prosecute on that unless it was for the s&g's of charge-stacking. Unless of course it was a bona fide switchblade.

The real issue is that catch-all phrase "any other offensive weapon".

So in the state of Oklahoma, am I right to assume balisongs fall under the definition of "dagger" or "switchblade"?

LOL Yes this could be debated:drunk2:
And Balisong is neither, Dagger is the type of blade (sharp double sided), Switchblade has a switch.
If its used as a Defensive Weapon its not Offensive?
And I hear if your not Already in trouble (commiting a crime) not many (in authority) care.:bighug:

In this section:
TITLE 21 § 1272. Unlawful carry
UNLAWFUL CARRY
A. It shall be unlawful for any person to carry upon or about his or her
person, or in a purse or other container belonging to the person, any
pistol, revolver, shotgun or rifle whether loaded or unloaded or any
dagger, bowie knife, dirk knife, switchblade knife, spring-type knife,
sword cane, knife having a blade which opens automatically by hand
pressure applied to a button, spring, or other device in the handle of the
knife, blackjack, loaded cane, billy, hand chain, metal knuckles, or any
other offensive weapon, whether such weapon be concealed or
unconcealed, except this section shall not prohibit
Since my spring loaded knife is illegal to carry...Is it legal to conceal and carry with a Conceal Weapons License?

My second question is: I can't really find in the SDA book what the fine could be for carrying in a business where a "No Gun Sign" is posted. I see the fine for Unlawful Carry in Certain Places that are stated, but not small business like 7-11's..Please give me the SDA Book Reference.

So back to the 2nd question. Can anyone give me a SDA Reference on this?

Closest you are going to find in the SDA. It does not list the fine because at BEST its misdemeanor trespassing, and the fine will vary from muicipality to municipality, just like a speeding ticket. SDa only deals with state laws, not local, so sorry, can't give you a clearcut answer..Just look up the fines for whatever city or county you are in.

TITLE 21 § 1290.22. Business owner’s rights
BUSINESS OWNER’S RIGHTS
A. Except as provided in subsection B of this section, nothing contained in
any provision of the Oklahoma Self-Defense Act, Section 1290.1 et
seq. of this title, shall be construed to limit, restrict or prohibit in any
manner the existing rights of any person, property owner, tenant,
employer, or business entity to control the possession of weapons on
any property owned or controlled by the person or business entity.
B. No person, property owner, tenant, employer, or business entity shall
be permitted to establish any policy or rule that has the effect of
prohibiting any person, except a convicted felon, from transporting and
storing firearms in a locked vehicle on any property set aside for any
vehicle.
