View from the Tree Stand/Blind

Public land, Spooncg33. Hunted another spot yesterday and someone setup a ground blind not 60 yards from a ladder stand I have in there. I just had to laugh and hope for the best...

Kudos to those that are hunting without the attraction of a deer feeder.

Back when I hunted, I even refused to use a hunting dog. I like giving the wildlife every chance at survival.

But then, I now do my hunting with the equipment in my signature below.

No kudos for me I guess..................they'd already eaten the 400lbs of corn and wheat cleanings at the base of the center tree in my pic. If I wanted them to survive, I'd stay home.

Here is where I spent a couple hunts this year along the river out by Canton, OK. As you can tell, the river is pretty much dried up.

Took grandson here yesterday evening shot at a doe and missed.It happens to the best of us.
