Good looking pup! That book is great. Used it on my current lab and using in on my 11 week old pup now. He's got sit, stay, comes to his name, retrieves teal back to hand and hunts dead successfully already.
Awesome! I have a lot to learn to train him. He's 12 weeks today but already heels, sits when I stop and on command. Got him Wednesday night so we're just getting started.
Birds worked really well this morning. Just not enough of them around.
An area that I used to hunt dove, deer, and coyotes has about a 3 acre marsh on it now. It had bout 100 ducks on it late this morning. I may try to get permission, but I will need to get some waders and decoys.
Am I doing the mixed bag thing right?
