NO NO NO I am not above taking constructive criticism. In fact I am the type that welcomes it. I will be the first to admit that I don't know everything. I know what I was taught in the military and in the few discussions I have had with those that were more knowledgeable. My point is and was... that the "uninvited" regardless of how they got there are wrong for being there and therefore subject to my determination of wether they should live or get escorted out in a body bag. I thought you were referring to me as an idiot in your post. I apologize for the misunderstanding. Regardless, I don't see how attaching a light to my pistol would make any difference to me. I carry the same pistol that I shoot when I practice, or shoot the competitions at Heartland and other places with. A light...IMHO.... is just not a neccessity.

Really? How many times did you use idiot in your post? I didn't see were I specifically called you an idiot but if you are that sensitive then you obviously will never take any constructive advice or seek any actual training in this area so I'm done here. I hope you get a nice jury when you smoke someone you shouldn't have cause you miss judged the tone of your dogs bark.

Thanks, great addition to the conversation; a weeks old quote.

No problem, just tyrin to get some guys to lighten up and quit taking the internet so seriously.

Congrats on the light dude. Hope you like it. The only holster I've seen so far that have really been worth the money have been raven concealment. Of the ones I've seen, the rest have been somewhat lackluster.

I've got a Raven and really like it.
Their website says to allow 12-14 weeks. THAT BLOWS!!!

I am going to give Comp Tac and Raven a call tomorrow. I'd like to get another Raven but I'm not waiting 3 months for a kydex holster.

Ha, yeah, it really blows. I'm waiting on a light compatible holster to put in my center console from them.

I forgot the comp-tac made a light compatible holster, have you tried the c-tac before? just curious how it compares against the m-tac. It'd be so much easier if there was a light compatible m-tac or crossbreed.

Good on ya wormy. Figure out what you want the holster to for: concealment or general range work and then go from there.

Comptac does excellent stuff and you will easily have it within a week of your order if not less.

The raven is a great choice for OWB (some guys can run the light holsters IWB but I can't) especially now that they've reworked there products with better loops and stronger kydex. Order it then forget about it until it shows up, you'll like it.

Safariland makes an excellent duty type holster with retention that will hold both the gun and the light. The model of holster is the 6377, it is rock solid as a paddle or a belt mount. The fit code for your particular gun and light is '2191'.

Finally, start setting some cash aside for a DG switch. The X300 already has an excellent switch setup but the DG switch is tits and well worth the money for the way it seamlessly integrates the light with the gun. If you have questions I could probably help you out as could several of the other folks here.

Cheers!
