The guys at a Tulsa vendor that sell boiler and pump parts found this tool (maybe) during a cleanup of the parts room.
Nobody seems to recognize it.
Any ideas?

Ok, I am like 99% certain I know what that is. On a 5/8”, 3/4”, or 1” round water meter can that has the metal lid and 2” hole for an antenna that connect to the actual meter, if an antenna is not used there is a metal cap that covers that 2” hole and a that thing in your hand goes on the underside of the lid with a pin to hold that cap in place. I don’t think it’s a key and it’s worth only its weight in scrap metal. You can go to the Tulsa water department and find a couple thousand of them laying around
